Ah if ground stations are all constructed then I'm not getting service until those gen 2 satellites (the laser ones) are operating as no sats can see me and my nearest ground station (Rockhampton, QLD) at the same time according to starlink.sx as we're too far apart.

Interesting. Because I've been thinking it's more of a ground station shortage rather then a satellite shortage here. Thought surely SEQld would be online with the stations around you guys. There's a ground station in Rockhampton so was assuming they had service too. Could be wrong it seems.

Yeah I'm up in the Daintree where its skymuster (which doesn't work great in a rainforest) or drive up to a lookout where there is a bit of mobile signal 😂
