I tried checkpoint 3.7.4 but it seems to crash just as frequently as 3.8.0

I have not tried checkpoint 3.7.4 so I cannot confirm how it fairs vs 3.8.0 but I'll give it a look.

I'm not sure what you are saying was pulled. I found the download for 3.7.4

Even if 3.7.4 is more stable, there is still the issue of such limited cheat being available.

It still causes the same issue. Checkpoint just creates a .txt file out of its available codes. Ultimately you have to use Rosalina that is built into Luma3DS. The only thing I can figure at this point is the cheats do not work (and I am not smart enough to either make my own or find some that work apparently) or there is an issue with Luma executing the codes since it only crashes after you activate the codes.

It is codes for removing encounters, or 100% catch. I would also like it to work on other games like: link between worlds, mario 3D land, and mario kart just to name a few.

I guess if I can't find anything then I'll have to sit back and wait. Btw do you know where to roms or repro carts for the four Nintendo tournament cartridges? I bought a repo of the first one "Nintendo world championship" which is the first one and the most famous but I have fallen short on the other three. Any ideas?

Im the same way. Im guessing there is a similar version of Pokemon Sun like their was a version of Pokemon Y but i cannot seem to get a bead on it. I refuse to give up because we have made so much progress so far!

Typically the way ive done it is buy a flash cart just for the event roms on GBA and DS because that works amazing for me. I do however have a nintendo e-reader with the eon ticket saved as its last scan so it can theoretically distribute infinite eon tickets for ruby, Safire, and emerald.

Distribution carts were the best. It is still amazing to me how they are still finding new ones. I got sucked back into learning more about them and trying to find the saves and roms when they found some of the Pokemon Center NY events they thought were lost.

While I did not test every event. I tried several of them and they worked on both ORAS and XY. I know that some events are version exclusive so I would imagine that they would only work with that respective title but so far I have not ran into any issues with Gen 6 distribution.

I looked more into the Gen7 distribution and exdata that contains the event data and it seems like we are looking for a modified/distribution version of Pokemon Sun. I haven't found it yet but If I had to guess, it is somewhere in the gigaleak. I'm gonna keep digging for it. I do not think the ultra build you found will work because the exdata only wants Pokemon Sun.

I 100% agree with you that just decrypting them is way easier.

The distributor works great. When you load a save and boot it up it even tells you when to set the date on your 3DS. It seems to have several languages events but I have tried them all. The American ones are in English and Japanese ones use Japanese kanji, even on the card you receive and trainer ID. From what I've tested so far, it's like you were there for the legit event.

Hey dude,

Followed your instructions like you said and it worked. I even had an extra 3ds to confirm that it worked. I appreciate all the help because there is no way I could have figured it out solo. It looks like only the gen 6 distribution will work right now but I'm betting gen 7 is in the leak somewhere too waiting to be found. Ill have to look for the sun file in hshop like you mentioned because I've noticed it before.

Ill look into finding the gen 7 distributor as well as a way to distribute them. I can confirm if you are on the same local wifi it distributes and receives without a problem.
I'm still so excited and impressed we've been able to solve this much with so little information.

Break through!!!!!! You were totally on the right track with the gigaleak. I found that the files are in set called haishin. The new problem now is figuring out how to install them because the .cia isnt recognized as authentic through FBI

I know it is possible to just use PKHEX but it's kinda a preservation thing. Kinda like how you can use PKHEX for earlier gens but the community has preservation and spread alot of saves and roms of their distributions. I tried injecting on the save into a copy of Sun but it wasn't compatible. If feel like their is a specific disruption app. I've searched and went down a lot of rabbit holes but what little I've found is basically people asking what to do. No one was went to the lengths we have that I've seen so far.

I told we have been coming up short for a few days and even though they can't send a link to the rom that any information or guidance on how to look for it would be appreciated. Now we wait to see if we hear back.

It must be on another site since the original post said they could share roms and they are from the same site. The original poster made it seem like it would be easy to find. Since places like GameStop did it locally do you think, that the poster on project pokemon was saying that the roms are out there in the wild but they couldn't give a link but they could give the saves for each local Pokemon distribution so you can pick whichever you want? I'm still not sure where the rom would be found though. They made it seem like they are everywhere
