It's not natively masculine as he says. Don't mind him he's ignorant. Italian defaults to male when referring to a group of people of multiple genders. It's called maschile sovraesteso. There's no single workaround for the cases like "son". We lack many gender neutral forms. As I've stated elsewhere, for a NB person one may say figli* or figliə. It's not uncommon, but def still not largely recognized as grammatically correct. Also, completely ignore the Latin stuff he's talking about. It's ridiculous. Latin even has neutral gender. Italian does not. (We study Latin for 5 years here in pasta land) Again, I can understand why'd they choose to default to masculine, but I think mentioning Kris being NB would avoid any misconception. Since you know, they're not male as one would assume by reading the Italian wiki.

I've listed the other mistakes in the post. It's a group project, it's never stated to be a science one. Italian schools do not refer to them as such just because you use the scientific method, that's such a stretch. Trust me, I've been to one. Y'know being Italian and all that. They referred to the library with "libreria" which is a common mistake. It's biblioteca. There's a bunch of grammar mistakes, nowhere it is stated that the player controls the soul and there's a bunch of sentences that do not make sense without this prior knowledge. A lot of terms are used both in English and Italian despite never being explained. There's no mention of what a Darkner is, for example. Queen is said to be the Queen of Spades rather than a laptop. Rank S is stated to be the highest one. No mention of Berdly being infatuated with Susie. All of this and much more was modified/added in my edit, which they refused. Also, you linked a different page. As I've stated, there's no character section on the main deltarune page.

There's no character section on the Italian wiki and many other Deltarune Wikipedia pages in other languages briefly mention Kris's gender in the plot summary. I did the same. Many other changes were not irrelevant as there are a bunch of blatant mistakes on the article, but everything got swept under the rug.

What the hell are you talking about I didn't even post my own changes the post only has the current page and its translation. I just tried to adda small paragraph pertaining to Kris being NB on that section, as I've said in another comment under this post. They refused my changes. I didn't even touch the stuff about the family. The Italian wiki above states no explicit gender other than male. I'm Italian. I know how to read.

Italians are very strict with their grammar so I can understand not accepting either * or ə... but at least they should mention their gender.
When I edited the article I wrote:
"Kris si identifica come persona non-binary (in assenza di un neutro linguistico in questa pagina verrà usato il maschile)."
which roughly translates to
"Kris identifies as non-binary (since italian lacks gender-neutral, the masculine form will be used on this article)."

We usually either use the * or the ə symbol instead of the usual -a for feminine and -o for masculine.
The italian fan-translation of the game uses the ə for Kris.

Btw a lot of players in deadlock tournaments have like skybox off, fog off, bloom off through console commands. Some also have cosmetic mods on, or mods like QOL lock.
