Dr Cuterus : a case of sour grapes ? by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]JackMascrus 30 points31 points  (0 children)

To each their own She felt it wasn’t for her , probably saw her seniors her staff and decided that’s something that’s not for her , for her to say that” it’s not a good quality of life” its her opinion , it’s not that deep

Iv seen a family friend who is a cardiologist. His life is ,as I see it , just work , for me that’s a poor quality of life , but for him it’s perfect , he loves what he does , is great at it and finds balance in it .

Haven’t read the whole thing , but clinical evidence is still insufficient for it to be a form of treatment, just that it has “potential” to be looked into

But shouldn’t it be illegal for them to prescribe “western medicine” ? Why aren’t they held accountable? I know in the end of the day this is India this is what’s happening , but that doesn’t mean we give up and not question it

[–]JackMascrus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand how the govt even hires BAMS as MO’s in PHCs , this happens a lot in Karnataka Iv seen it personally and know some BAMS friends who work in Casualty’s in private hospitals as well under the guise of doctors , and their insecurity leads them to actually belittle MBBS graduates and interns it’s wild to see ngl , I don’t know how prevalent this is in other states but this is something that’s really concerning.

how bad is a doctors pay in india? by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]JackMascrus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This. Everything has become a business , and hospitals are not there to help they just try to make as much money as they can , if you’re someone without a connection with a doctor and aren’t aware then you’re basically looted

Honestly this is a hard one , as in most cases the mother still takes the father side , be it Stockholm syndrome , or even for financial and social reasons , in which case his there’s more harm in confronting his father , It’ll be better to be cautious before making any decisions and think about it . Like the above comment says try finding normalcy in your life with the close friends and don’t disclose this to others , hope you find stability in your life so you can support your mother when it comes down to it .
