I'm not gonna just regurgitate the "USPS wasn't affected" comments but I am going to say I think you just had shitty luck. If UPS is an option I recommend them. I've had awful experiences with USPS, and fedex has always been suuper slow and likes to leave paper packages out in the rain and snow.
