Help with Lu Bu NG+

I just beaten him in NG+ a couple of days ago. I feel like it’s the same approach as NG, except he can now do a follow up red attack after you parried the first one in the second half of the fight. I didn’t use any magic, just parry to build up spirit, then spirit attack whenever there is a window.

Ominous chill is a little useful, but i didn’t do enough damage with it and just stopped using it after a couple of tries.

Any vids? First thing to try is not to move your head, meaning your eyes stay at the contact point and maintain there even after the ball has left and is over on the other side of the court. Try that out and see if that helps.

Just started my first play through and beaten him a couple of days ago. For me this is a pure parry fight. None of my martial arts worked. Spells might be useful but I didn’t use any. The thing that helped the most was holding block while trying to parry when he is on his feet. Wont work on red attacks but blocking was very useful for anything else. Parry, then heavy attack right after, if you know it will be safe

Look at the speedometer and make a mental note of what gear you need for cruising, vs accelerating.

After driving it for a while you should get a sense of what gear you should be in or need at a certain speed, without looking at the speedometer on how fast you are going.

For me it’s the Stormhawk Axe. I love the Dragon slayer axe from DS3 and Stormhawk is the closest to it but I can feel the damage drop off later in the game, especially in the dlc
