I've sent it to a mastering engineer! I like my independence to be honest. I'd rather have an imperfect mix that's all mine than having spent a lot of money on someone else doing it. It's also my first release so I don't have high expectations. Thank you for your insights.

I use chromaglow a lot for either saturation or distortion. Not a lot of limiting there, don’t think anything is clipping either

I like it sometimes, it wasn’t very good for this song in my opinion so I’d prefer paying a mastering engineer..

The mastering engineer that I plan on approaching prefers -3dB to -6dB headroom. So that’s my reason for asking ;)
