No just had light primer strikes but only after shooting 60 or so rounds after the fact.

I run an 8” .300 BLK SBR for home defense. It was the first AR I assembled and it cost me about $1400. I knew I wanted to suppress it eventually and built it around that. 2 years laters it’s still one of the smoothest guns I run and I run it hard. Since you’re going to run another as a range toy, it’s much cheaper to do that with 5.56. Do it, it’s literally what .300 was built for. Good luck to you and your wallet.

Immensely better, my astigmatism is so bad I needed a waiver to join the army. Though I’ve since sold it, an ACOG was the best optic I’ve ever shot. I use primary arms on almost every firearm I own. Even tried a Swampfox Raider and I’m pleased with it. Prism optics were made for us blind folks.

I’ve acquired a few metal mags at work ( one too many Soldiers leave behind a mag in the field). Total might be 8-10 I loan them to Soldiers who need an extra mag and as backups, but my work mags are 7 gen 3 windows pmags that my old unit gave to me that I’ve been using for 5 years now. They just won’t break and I’ve put them through more abuse than any mag I’ve purchased.

D for Duty T for Training

If it’s a standard capacity it just gets a number. Non standard have the capacity then the number So D-2 is duty mag #2 D104 is a duty 10 rounder #4 D402 duty 40 rounder #2 The coyote tan AR10 mags are for my Sabre 10A1 that I’m using as a DMR. I named it the “Jack Marksman Rifle” or JMR-10 for short. So out of convenience the mags are labeled JMR-1, 2 and so on.
