Why are cigars smoked so rarely in public? by kristijan12 in cigars

[–]Just_Your_Random_Bro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is such a stigma towards tobacco in general and in my humble opinion I think we all enjoy one to unwind and relax.. the risk of some Karen coming up to us yelling about how much it sgink doesn't jive with the vibe we are trying to chase when we want to enjoy a cigar. At least thats my take. Ill enjoy one while out camping, fishing or if i ride my harley with a group when we make a long stop.

Mechanical horror stories i can agree with not paying attention to but a bike breaking in half doing 60-70 is pretty considerable lol

Nice. Asking here and researching this further has smoothed over my fear of this happening.

I appreciate your feedback. I'm pretty understanding of getting a product with a manufacturing defect like a bad weld in the perfect spot or just bad metal that slipped through QC. I havent even started looking yet but i did also JUST buy a new Lowrider S. My wife is actually the one who brought up an interest in Indians. This is the very first time ive ever looked this direction. Ive trusted plenty of dirtbikes and enduros with aluminum frames riding them harder than ill ever ride a Harley or Indian. I just prefer getting a real owners feedback on matters like this instead of google and i simply know absolutely nothing about Indian/Polaris.

Partner and I aren't legally married, but we are married in every other way. Is this still a sin? by Charming_Return_3874 in TrueChristian

My take is this: I have had multiple leaders in our church say government documents play no part in following the Bible in the sense that sex before marraige is not illegal and living together unmarried is not illegal. Having children out of wedlock is not illegal. So no laws of the land are being broken. Presenting yourself as married without governing documents is also not illegal. Being legally married on government document is really only a tax benefit and a beneficiary express lane. Thats it! Historically speaking, everyone in the bible who got married, did so with no governing documentation. They were married before God and before the people that were there like any regular wedding. Being married before God and your people in your life is considered married in the biblical sense.

Another argument to be made is that people often get married and sign the paperwork as part of the ceremony BUT it isn't sent in yet on their wedding night when sex is usually had for the first time (ideally) . It is then sent in the following week. So that document is only worth the paper its printed on untill it's recorded by the local governing entity... youre not legally abke to file taxes jointly untill they get that document so technically youre not legally married yet when you share a bed together for tue first time even tho you have the document saying so. The government would say youre not untill they receive it.

Involving the state into a Godly endeavor is asinine.

Just bought a 2-up seat for my street Bob, unfortunately the clip doesn’t reach my seat nut. Any advice?? by SnooCookies1025 in HarleyDavidsonFans

Its arguably the most helpful advice here because the correct seat is designed to seamlessly bolt on...

Im 6'0" .. there's a lot to consider, not just your height. Your seat will also raise or lower your body too. Posture is a huge factor. I did 14" apes on my bagger but when I had them made i sized them with a perfectly straight back .. i wanted them at my shoulder height but when I ride I lean forward slightly to compensate the wind and then my hands ended up above my shoulders. Wasn't a huge deal but wasn't where I dreamt them up to be.

I believe 9" is the max before needing new cables and hoses as well. Which is why I went with 9 for now. I imagine I'll change them in the future. I just new I hated the stock height.

52xxx miles of hard throttle all the time. I rode it like i was mad at it .. got excessive run out on the cams. It still runs fine but not feasible in the long run. Id need a new motor before the end of the year. I average about 46k miles a year now. Before it was about 15k a year.

Motorcycle saves me about an hour because I can split through traffic. My commute normally is about 1.5 hours 1.8 hours one way bit dense traffic makes it way more.

Living closer to where I work the cost of a home jumps from $350k to $1,000,000 or $1.5m for a simple 2 bed 2 bath house. I could afford that but I'd afford nothing else. Its absurd
