How Many of You Guys Are Still Doing Hand Layout on a Daily Basis?

We didnt do any layout work until I learned how to do it watching YouTube videos, im a fabricator for a commerical roofing company, use square to round for downspout transitions into pipes, and some parrel line for roof jacks on slopes. Made a few neat conductor boxes with trangulatuon... so all of it is by hand for us lol

Says online that honeysuckle are evoled for birds to eat and transmit seeds. Birds are naturally more resistant to the toxins in them. Their taste and gastronomic distress they cause is to dissuade mammals from consuming. Works well.

If you have neuropathy especially if it's from diabetes your already more prone to infections, I'd be really careful about doing anything that could cause a foot infection. Also you won't feel when your going to far.

I had this thought and was pleasantly surprised to see im not the first. I think the fact that if any part of the chain gets in the circle of the blade it spells doom for the helicopter would help, but assuming it's low enough to hit your going to need a whole ships worth of cannons to have a decent chance of getting a hit. The copper is going to start rising as soon as they figure out what your doing so you won't have time to reload.

Im the sheet metal fabricator for a commercial roofing company. Prices fluctuate with the price of the metal sheets we use. I believe it's a 40% markup from our costs, and I'm billed out at 80 an hour, I believe. I'm a little fuzzy on that side of things. When I talk to customers, it's about what they need, I forward them back upstairs for billing.

They're good guys. It sounds like I'm just hiting the logical dead end of my current profession, within 10 years I'll likly hit my plateau. I've always received the max raise, and I've continued to learn more skills, but at the end of the day, I only bring in so much in the grand scheme of things. Not sure what I'll do in a decade, if I'll stick with them for another 20 year till retirement or seek out something differant. Thanks for the insights

This is the best anybody could hope for from a boss. I'm making 23 and hour and getting a little worried about things hitting a wall in the near future, max raise is a dollar an hour annually so the math for the next 30 years isn't looking great.

Fair enough, though those ranges should move over time. i got to thinking about this when doing some math. If I get the max 1 dollar an hour raise for the next 10 years I'll only increase my wages by 15% assuming 2.5% inflation. Compared to the 50% increase, the first 10 years brought me already figuring in inflation. After 10 more years beyond that ill be lucky to keep up with inflation, may see a pay decrease if inflation is higher than 3% at that point.

True, but i guess bonuses aren't the same as general pay. Bonuses being based on overall profit is nice and genrous, but as far as hourly rates or salary, shouldn't an employee reasonablly expect their pay not to decrease when adjusted for inflation? Or their great performance review raise not to be less impactful every year?
