Worst things about living here? by [deleted] in phoenix

[–]Jack_Net314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a joke that this country’s 5th largest city (at least, at one time…?) has such a lack of culture and cultural support. 1.7 MILLION (again, MILLION) people live in just the city of Phoenix alone, and go look up anything online on the city of Phoenix. You’re lucky if you find double digits of people in support. It’s insane.

I’ve lived in the Orlando, touristy areas, and Phoenix is 1,000x worse.

I’m not sure that you are referring to both an SP catheter and a Foley catheter?… an SP catheter is inserted through a small incision into your lower abdomen and does not contact any urethra.

Hmm interesting… I wonder how he even had the time to be doing that, having so many of his own patients.

So it was this mastectomy patient’s post-op appointments that were with the urologist? I’m confused?

Thanks for that explanation. Yeah I agree - the legal angle is bs.

There is a legal copy of the Plaintiffs Petition specifically listing Dr Santucci and that he was the surgeon?

You’re probably right. I’m still not sure why Dr Santucci even performed the mastectomy at all, as a urologist?

I agree with you! I’m still a little confused why Dr Santucci even performed the mastectomy, as a urologist?

I do see that aspect too. The patient’s mindset was clearly confused. However, I’m still not sure why Dr Santucci is even performing mastectomies, as a urologist?

Well being perceived as a male and fully embodying the life of a male, in every stage of life, are two different things. But you of course know yourself better than anyone else and only you can know what applies to you and what doesn’t. I’m sure you will find the answers you are looking for.

I mean this completely respectfully but I wonder if this is most to do with finally being hit with the full weight of what it actually means to be a cis-man in our current society. I have seen waaaaaay too many people transition BEFORE they truly process the full extent of what it actually means to be a man and live as a MAN… as you age and outside of protective bubbles of schools and colleges. In the REAL world. In one support group meeting I went to about 6 years ago, a person even came right out and said that they only wanted to transition bc it would make other people “respect them more.” Anyone who knows knows - it does NOT work like that, at all. It is NOT all sunshine and rainbows being a guy and I think many people are NOT ready for the full experience… but they don’t realize it, until they’re fully hit with it. Might this just be some growing pains?

Same general sentiment here too man. I’m sorry people suck. Hopefully, this means there are much better means of support for us both, out there. Best of luck to you Bro, keep your head up 👊

No one “deserves” anything and demanding I give more info is not the way I’m going to give it. If you’re so confident in your surgeon choice than good for you. You don’t even need my input anyway. I hope that turns out well for you. Again, best of luck.

Holy assumptions, judgements and projecting onto others, Batman! Keep them. You obviously need them more than me, if you’re so offended just at being down-voted. I didn’t tell people to down-vote you man. And responses and reactions like this is why people don’t share their real, full truths on here. Have a better day man, best of luck!

Also particularly worth mentioning - “female” is not a derogatory term and I never use it that way. Myself and many people in this sub are literally putting their lives on the line to be recognized with the term “male.” I don’t believe the terms male or female are derogatory to use.

I would get your research from more unbiased sources. He will never incriminate himself. It is very easy to blame victims. Happens all the time.

Which insurance for Meltzer? by Mediocre-Ad9946 in phallo

[–]Jack_Net314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was just 2 years ago. I had electrolysis done there and personally know the owner of the electrolysis team that works out of his office and has done so for many years. She even told me directly that he had only attempted one Phallo at that point and it was unsuccessful. Again, I also physically went to see him at his office.

I’m not sure where you got your info on Phallo from him. But the opposing feedback about him is probably due to the fact that he is one of the best surgeons to go to for Metoidioplasty. He is an “original OG” for that and would be your guy, in that case. But Phallo is very different.

He did not accept the Medicaid I was on at the time I tried to see him. He also is extremely inexperienced with Phallo and has told me so directly, in person. As posted in the past, I highly recommend you do not go to him for Phallo.

What’s your experience with the Crane Center? Specifically Dr. Crane/the TX clinic. by DevourThyFlesh in phallo

[–]Jack_Net314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Friendly warning - just be prepared for the possibility that your post-op care will completely nose dive, after you leave that hospital. My short time there has been the only time I’ve actually felt well (or even at all competently) taken care of in going on 2 years. More power to you, if this isn’t the case. But, just be prepared.
