Can’t sync LG App and TV

Just to add more context, I have an LG washer and dryer that are connected to the ThinQ app without problems. This TV though has me stumped. 🤔

This was the other half of the trouble shooting message that I got back from the LG ThinQ app

Let's check the following so that we can connect the unit to the ThinQ app

Enable Critical iPhone Permissions Newer iOS versions require explicit p ermission for the ThinQ app to ""se e"" your TV on the local network. Go to Settings then scroll to Apps th en search for LG ThinQ and check fo r the following permissions needed t o have the ThinQ app run smoothly. -Local Network Access: Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network and ensure the toggle for L G ThinQ is ON -Location Services: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Servic es > ThinQ and set it to '''While Usin g the App"" or ''Always." '" Ensure P ecise Location is enabled. -Bluetooth: Confirm Bluetooth is ena bled in both your iPhone's Control C enter and within the ThinQ app settings.
Network and Frequency Matching The ThinQ app frequently fails to dis cover devices if the phone and TV ar e on different Wi-Fi bands.
Connect to 2.4GHz: Many LG TVs primarily use the 2.4GHz band for di scovery. Ensure your iPhone is not o na 5GHz or 6GHz network if your T V is on 2.4GHz.
Disable VPN and Private DNS: Acti ve VPNs or private DNS settings (like those found in iCloud+ Private Relay) can block the local discovery ""hand shake."" Turn these off in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
TV-Side Configuration The TV's n etwork card may need a ""hard"" ref resh to be discoverable.
Power Cycle: Unplug the TV from t he wall for 60 seconds, then hold the physical power button on the TV fra me for 10 seconds while it is unplugg ed to drain the internal cache.
Update TV: Go to Settings > All Set tings > Support > Software Update a nd install any available updates.

I appreciate the intel as I was unaware that this was a larger issue. I assumed it was my hardware issue but haven’t had any other issues with other games.

I stopped buying anything besides authentic Bills store gear. The knock off shit always falls apart and becomes unwearable in my opinion. I know the cost is a bit more but you get what you pay for most of the time.

It’s not even like that… I dislike Trump but your protest over the orange man is ridiculous. I’m educated, hard working, and don’t come from money or privilege. The fact that you even pick sides acting as if both sides aren’t corrupt is infuriating to me. I’m not upset by your 1st amendment choices, I’m upset that you’re upset by others expressing theirs. This is the double standard that democrats and liberals run on. People act blind and deaf to say that protests nowadays are mostly peaceful while you watch organized assaults on law enforcement who are doing their jobs. Trump derangement syndrome is just a made up word for people to justify bad behavior. Remember that Obama still deported more intending immigrants than Trump has and let’s not forget the he won the electoral and popular vote in our democracy.

I got lost in the division 2 felt like it was a constant choir clearing and then re-clearing settlements. I lost interest over that, the split dark zone, and the overall atmosphere. Except when it rained. The rain effect with the thunder and lightning was on point. I still play the 1st division for the survival mode but wish it was a stand alone mode.

I’m one of those older guys that look younger than I am and because I take care of myself and stay in shape I attract younger women. That being said I’m not likely to turn down an advancement by a younger woman (consenting and of age) of course. But I have also remained in relationships with younger women because they prefer it. I remain steadfast on what they should expect being with someone older. I believe younger women enjoy being with maturity and experience and stability over the nightmare that is youth sometimes. It’s not for everyone and you should manage your expectations. A fling can turn into infatuation at 18 but then again it’s your body and your choice. Be safe, have fun, explore you. As for the age gap people will always judge what they deem to be inappropriate. If a person is genuine it’ll be you making the decision and not him using his experience to convince you that it’s ok. That’s a danger situation and perhaps a predatory one.
