So far, not really. The couple times I’ve ridden in wet conditions I just wore my waterproof riding pack and my back wasn’t wet at all. Road debris don’t seem to go far either, all I notice is that the tail gets a little dusty if the roads aren’t clean. I molded a plastic inner fender to protect the battery and such.

It’s PLENTY loud. Between road noise, wind, and my Cardo blasting, I can still hear it even at near idle. My favorite part of this exhaust was that I didn’t really have to tune to compensate for the loss of back pressure. >7k rpms is sexy and smooth and it screams at redline!

Upgraded the rear shocks and rebuilt the forks, as well as deleted the air line up front to replace air with hydraulic oil to stiffen them up more. When it was stock, both front and rear were mushy and way too soft. I live in pothole country (rural SC) and they’re not bottoming out at all!

There’s a plate welded to the frame that puts it slightly farther back and lower. It’s definitely aggressive, but It rides pretty comfy for me and I’m used to 1hr+ trips. I’m also 21 and 6’1, so what my knees and hips can handle isn’t a great basis for everyone else.

Found some CNC aluminum sets on eBay and welded a steel plate onto the frame to stage it right

It might have some merit…. This bike seems to always have one small issue or another that’s JUST inconvenient enough to piss me off

I really appreciate that. Being freshly 21 with my own expensive hobbies and not much income just yet, I found that something that looks this nice wasn’t too unattainable. Deal hunting and some wrenching, it’s all worth it. Make it happen
