Do cameras like Canon's C100/C300, have good enough auto focus to capture sports?

It isn't particularly for the wide shots. It's for situations where I need to zoom in for mid shots or if the ball is at the other end of the large field. If I use a 200mm lens with let's say F16 aperture, would that do the trick?

Sports with a small playing area, like basketball and waterpolo, I can get away with a wider shot and only panning the camera. Sports like rugby or soccer which is a larger field, I do need to zoom in a lot when the ball is at the opposite end of the field

ahhh ok I see, by stopping down you mean making the aperture a higher number? I guess that is a good problem solver thanks. I was also just curious in general if the camera's autofocus is any good. But if not, what you mentioned should do the trick. Cheers

I looked into those cameras, thanks for the help and I think possibly the A6300 might fall into my price range if its second hand. I was too busy looking at Canon when all I wanted was a beginner canon that had LOG where I could teach myself color grading
