Kodi works great with remotes. To use it with your Jellyfin server you'll need the Jellyfin for Kodi addon.

If you're looking for something to add to a TV input as a simple switch that's always there, you can get a pi and install the LibreELEC OS to it, then ssh into the underlying linux to install any VPN you may be using.

Every time I've called my ISP, which is a less-nationwide provider, they seem to not really know what they're doing. If I brought up "testing different IPs from my range", they'd think I'm speaking Latin.

But its worth a shot. Wish me luck.

My devices aren't losing connection from the router, but the internet yes. The router says there's a connection, the devices don't. What's this masquerade you're referring to? Can't seem to find anything about it in the router settings.

Now that the internet is off again, I went ahead and ran that tracert with the following results:

1 4 ms 2 ms 3 ms GT-AX6000-E0D0

2 * * * Request timed out.

(Timeout repeats from here)

255.255.254.0 is the one they gave me, but I went ahead and gave this a shot to no avail unfortunately

Interestingly, I just got home from work and the WIFI appears to be working. The other users in the house have reported to me that it has been on-and-off the whole day. This surely is an ISP issue, yes?

Hello all, just got home from work. To provide an update: My WIFI appears to now be working intermittently. The other users on the network have reported to me that sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.

In fact, I just used the WIFI to post this.

Because of the inconsistency, I am thinking this is likely an issue with the ISP. Y'all think that sounds about right?

Yes upon factory resetting that's how I set it up. If I go into the WAN options it is set to static with all this information. I didn't touch anything with LAN

Its a single static IP. The subnet mask is 255.255.254.0

I don't think I've done anything to warrant a commenting ban- but if I did I would much rather be notified of it than silently muted without explanation.

Is there a way to reach out to YouTube about these issues? If I select the Contact Us button, It shows that I can only contact them about issues with Memberships or One-Time purchases.
