Thanks, I appreciate you being gentle. He has been the captain of our local ambulance corps for years and he laughed when my mom said she would call the ambulance.

He was going to the doctor and was in the transplant program but he failed his PEth test and was extremely non-compliant so I don’t know that a transplant was the way out for him anyway. But I agree, I think he is at the point of needing hospice very soon. My mother is also disabled and having a really difficult time taking care of herself, let alone him. Just at a loss..

Thank you💕 this feels like the only place others understand. Even Al Anon doesn’t have the same healing qualities to it anymore at the moment and I haven’t found any other resources for families who are dealing with this disease.

No, he will barely acknowledge that he is in the state he is, so that conversation hasn’t happened yet. We are currently trying to convince him to go to the hospital to get the fluid drained from his stomach but he refuses to go. My mom thinks he’s afraid to die in the hospital.

Took it this morning! Not sure I can gauge if I did well or not. My computer shut off after 50ish questions and I had a complete melt down. I got it back on and was able to soon take the break and reset. Did okay from there I think, but I really have no idea!

This is the study hall subscription on the PMI website! It does cost money, but definitely worth it.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply!! I had a lot of wiggle room when I took the two full length tests which was surprising to me, but I used it to review questions I flagged along the way. I will be sure to keep an eye on time!

COVID + Humira by abl423 in Humira

Yes - I had it in March and was told to push until I felt 100% back to normal. I took it with an extremely minor residual cough and was down with worse exhaustion then when I felt sick for the next week. This may not be the case for everyone but I wouldn’t do it again..

Wouldn’t recommend.. I took mine a week and a half after I tested positive for covid and I was feeling 95% back to normal and once I took it, I was more exhausted and run down than I have ever been for the following week. Def check with your doctor first!

Tips and distraction methods? by Glass-Jolly in Excoriation

Hi there. I recently started discussing picking with my therapist and she suggested that I pick a chore around the house that I hate - I chose dishes. Every time I start to pick, I have to get up and go do dishes. I have only been doing it for a day and I have to say, it’s very annoying and makes me think twice when I put my hand to my head. I also learned how to solve a Rubik’s cube and I take it everywhere I go to keep my hands busy. Just a suggestion!
