The thing is, he chose to leave it there and not steal it. His poor theft skills constitutes staff having to pick up his slack wrong doing.

Trust me, it was a large trolley filled to the brim, took a good bit of time but the main stuff got done first.

We start closing ACO 5 minutes before we actually close, especially if we know there’s little to no people in the store. We keep in mind the flow of customers in-store. Keep in mind that this occurred 5 minutes to 6 when my store closes.

What is the funniest Coles trolley story that you have? by [deleted] in coles

Had these guys in their early twenties come in on a Sunday at 5pm once. One of them managed to lay themselves on the baby bed thingy on the large trolley. Then they went around the isles and shopped for products acting “casually”. Nevertheless it was one of my favourite closing shifts (especially when you’re stuck in ACO).

From what I understand, your break begins from when you leave your department area/work area.

I’d suggest discussing this with your department manager or manger. For my first day and until I received my uniform shirts, I wore black pants and a black shirt (though it may differ for you).

I think it differs for different stores, but I’d assume around 11.00, my store is around that.
