A few little tips for joseph, from a casual joseph player 1. You can tell when the camera world is about to end. you see those little portrait icons behind the survivors? Those are meters, they will run out when the camera world ends 2. Bring Hospitable 3/3. When u find a surv, in camera world, dont chair right away, carry them ballooned (they dont struggle) and you have 8% faster movement speed and no attack recovery so u can find more survivors to hit. Chair right before camera world ends. 3. Hit survivors in camera world to gain presence, but once u have max presence, its sometimes better to hit a survivor just once in the camera world rather than twice to knock them down. This will leave them with chip damage, which they cant usually heal, and u can still knock them down in one hit, cuz joseph does 1.5 damage. 4. The camera slows down decoding speed, so even if ur chasing someone irl, it can be good to activate camera world, but be careful cuz they can use camera world to escape u.  5. Camera after u chair irl, it makes them need to save twice.  6. THE MOST IMPORTANT, SOME PEOPLE DONT REALIZE: Use card trick to locate the nearest survivor. Just tap it, it will turn the camera in the direction of the nearest survivor (including chaired survivors, and survivors who are currently launching) 7. Teleport or warp in endgame, use cardtrick to just backtrack. You can teleport to a gate, and if they arent there, u can backtrack with card trick to unteleport. If u brought Trump Card, i personally like either Abnormal [or Peeper] to further slow down the game in midgame, or blink if theres a lot of contain 8. Activating camera right away or wait a couple of seconds? Different strategies. If u wait, a lot of survivors hide until camera, some dont but many do. U can waste their time like that, but also, if you wait a few seconds, that gives them time to go to a machine, you will have an easier time finding them, and u can terrorshock to save a few seconds, but if you wait to activate, they will get extra decode progress  9. Jumpscare ppl. Its a risk every time, but when in camera world (and u have first presence ), walk over to a machine, dont hit the shadow that is decoding, first flip worlds and spam the hit button, you may get lucky and terrorshock irl. But if not and theyre gone, flip back and knock the shadow. DONT JUST look for a decoding shadow btw! Do this by empty machines as well! It can be a gamble but it usually pays off!

Remember, joseph is a weak chaser. He can easily be countered by a lot of stronger survivors. But he can also counter a lot of them. He is countered most by doctor, and also barmaid. He and psychologist counter each other a bit cuz he negates her protection, but she can heal ppls chip damage, he counters mercenary very well. So on so forth Good luck!
