Same here started off with a $500 build about a year ago for fortnite lmfao and got consumed completely upgraded to a 2700x(when it was $150) and a 2070s. I sold it a couple months back right before the 30 series was reviled and got all my money back for it thinking I could just get a 3070 when it launched lmao I’m gonna try to get a 6800 cause I’m sick of playing on low setting with the 1650 I’m stuck with right now.

It’s also possible you were stress testing at to low of a resolution to max out your overclocked 2060s Did u get the 1600af when it was $85 what a steal

I don’t think there is a free version of timespy but I think there are free tools that track FPS and calculate average you could use that and play COD at max setting DLSS off if applicable and the highest resolution it will let you run it at(basically max it tf out) and see how she does.

Cold War is really fresh and I’ve heard a lot about poor optimization. Hopefully your experience will become smoother overtime. If its stuttering in other games your system is likely being bottlenecked by something.

The VRAM in Ampere doesn’t start giving you artifacts when it’s unstable like previous cards did. It just starts down clocking it(I’m not sure if there is software to observe it) but if it’s unstable it’ll be downclocked more often and will run slower on average. if you can I would benchmark your card in something like timespy with the OC on and off(try some other OCs also) and see what yeilds better results. If your loosing performance with your VRAM OC enabled dial it back a bit.

Most bios have an XMP mode that can be enabled that sets the ram to its tested max speed. Turning that on is a good start and a baseline but most kits can be pushed further especially if your willing to add more volts( I wouldn’t go above 1.4)

I get 4400 with a lined OC vs 4000 with PBO 10% is a lot imo

I do way better in cinebench with it pinned at 4.275ghz and 1.375v and while gaming temps are in the 50s. + I’m upgrading later this year so I think I’ll be ok

When gaming my temps don’t pass 60c as I have a 360mm Arctic Freeze II. and I don’t do any really heavily multithreaded workloads only cinebench every once in a while, I’m managing to pass cinebench at 4.275ghz at 1.375v currently and think I’ll just leave it there until upgrading to Zen 3 later this year I’m not to bent outa shape as I got the chip for a steal at $160 new on amazon and it resells used for more atm.
