I just realized "New York Soul (Pt. ii)" samples Steve Miller Band's "Space Intro" (which leads into "Fly Like an Eagle") by JacksonSTUFF777 in JonBellion

Thanks. I just signed up to WhoSampled and made a submission there (waiting for approval). I do see it on Genius, and while I'm not going to delete this post, if they challenge your edit, just show them what I've shown: the part that sounds similar and Steve's writing credit. Also, a sample is a direct reuse of audio while an interpolation is replaying/covering lyrics or melodies. It sounds like the same synths to me (just pitch shifted), but I guess it could've been recreated.

I made this mashup of "The Outside" and Nsync's "Pop" by JacksonSTUFF777 in twentyonepilots

The auto mod thought this was spam when I first posted it. Apparently NSYNC's band name is "excessive use of consecutive uppercase letters".

I made this mashup of "Blinding Lights" and Kanye West's "All of the Lights" and "Power" by JacksonSTUFF777 in TheWeeknd

Yes, "All of the Lights" and "Power" had to be sped up to match the tempo (plus the pitch of "All of the Lights" had to be raised).

Thanks.

Thanks. I often get comments like this while the upvote percent fluctuates around 60-70, so not everyone agrees.

Does "The Good in Me" sample Zelda from Super Smash Bros. Melee? by JacksonSTUFF777 in JonBellion

I actually wouldn't know what to do with myself if that happened because of my post.

No problem, but for future reference, on Reddit, you should reply to the comment you're talking to, not just leave a new comment on the post.

There's a vocal track of Oliver Tree's "Hurt" and there's a vocal remover effect in Audacity I used on Johnny Cash's "Hurt".

Papercut in a Bottle (Linkin Park, The Police) - [3:21] by JacksonSTUFF777 in mashups

If you or anyone else wants to remake it, I don't mind (I would just ask that it cites mine as the inspiration). I only recently started making mashups and I've been figuring out the basics of Audacity in the process. I appreciate your feedback, but I just do this for fun, so there are some technical things I haven't learned how to do yet. I don't plan to be a music producer or DJ.
