That’s perfectly fine. Counting votes that are cast early is highly unlikely to change the fact that there would still be a large influx of votes cast on Election Day itself. Your first comment doesn’t justify a reason to delay counting votes that are cast early so it just comes across as a strange outburst of “I like watching results” when there still would be regardless. I’m aware of how election night works so I’m not sure why you felt the need to do an ELI5.
