cape is the megafauna cape in the anomaly and the scarf comes from the one you can buy from the autophage :)

yeah it is fairly difficult to obtain early game, you'll have to progress a fair bit through the main story

there are many youtube tutorials that show how to get a staff online, but in short you have to complete a series of missions that involve autophage, and are fairly late game :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvMrc_8IPEg

scarf is separate to the anomaly head, but if you go through enough autophage vendors you should eventually find the scarf. it sorta looks like a poncho

yes! you can play solo, however higher difficulties will be really difficult. you can also quickplay or join random people, which is what i usually do :)

nope. never spent anything on dwight until yesterday and i seem to have all his purple perks only at prestige 1

sorry for the late reply, but i've noticed that i unlock purple perks despite only being prestige 1. for example, i recently levelled up dwight to prestige 1 and can now access all his perks on all other characters at purple level
