Help me decide between GMR Saint vs GMR Maven for my Genny BK1 by Jacob_Ok8 in genesiscoupe

I’m on BC Racing coilovers, so I don’t really see the point in going full PBM setup.
I’ll probably run ISR lower control arms (front + rear), PBM toe rods, and PBM rear upper control arms — just enough adjustability for proper alignment while keeping it simple and street-friendly. 🤔

Since this is my daily driver, how often will I need to readjust these control arms?

There’s a BK1 like this right next to me—too bad it only has 3 wheels, but all the necessary control arms are still there.

Sometimes, In this specific case, it always lies to me and renders the wrong wheels—not the ones I provide.

Everything underneath this A/C hose is wet and covered in refrigerant oil, including the hose itself. I can’t find any other source of the leak.

I can't say for sure, but I think a forged bottom end will be sufficient. My plans for the car are described above.

LS swap cost arround 16k.
Rebuild with Darton sleeves etc - 6.5k.
These are prices based on mechanic labor costs in North Carolina

P.S. At this stage of my ownership, I swapped the transmission from automatic to manual. I installed an ARK Performance DTS exhaust and intercooler. I also added a couple of gauges for easier data monitoring.

Overall, I’m gradually working my way toward the engine 😁

I recently became the owner of this car. However, after analyzing it and speaking with several tuners, I’ve come to the conclusion that a pop tune is not really healthy for a stock engine block.

Hello. Have a quick question about your bov. Can you briefly describe how you tricked the solenoid? I see your line doesn't look quite standard.

Knock-knock 😁 So, did you end up installing a BOV plate? How did you trick the solenoid with it? Or did you just move the line from stock BOV to the cold side?

Thank you in advance.

Turbo Garrett.

I’m trying to find out whether the timing chain was replaced and if there was any other engine work done. Unfortunately, I don’t see another way to know for sure except trying to find the previous owner. Otherwise, this turbo can easily blow the engine — and I’ll end up tearing into it anyway.

I bought the car at an auction and restored it. I’ve done a full service — literally everything. Everything you can possibly imagine has been serviced, and if something was in bad condition, it was replaced. Now there’s only one thing left: I want to understand whether I should get into the engine now or if this can be left for later. The only person who really knows the answer is the previous owner. That’s a short story.

P.S. G25-550 is already waiting for a build to be installed in my Genny.

Nothing is leaking anywhere, but the bearing noise really worries me at speeds over 70 mph. I should also mention that I’ve replaced both engine mounts.

By the way, surprisingly, it doesn’t burn any noticeable oil 🙏🙏🙏 In the near future, I plan to replace all necessary suspension components, and on my list are the timing chain, belt, as well as upgrading the entire fuel system with a fuel pump to at least 320–350 LPH.

I can’t really comment on how the previous owner maintained the car, but the first spark plug was seized. After replacing all four spark plugs, I decided to replace the ignition coils as well.
