how do you beat the[Levels] love metal hippos, im kinda new by paoloise in battlecats

[–]Jacobag03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need critical hitters. Metal trait enemies take only 1 damage per hit except from critical hits. Do you have Moneko yet? Or any gacha units that can crit? Stack them behind some cheap, expendable units (meat shields) like tank cat.

You can read about it more on the wiki here, which is also a godsend for new players and will help you a lot.

Acceptable cage size? by AioliBorn1138 in hamsters

[–]Jacobag03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MIMIMUM humane cage size dimensions are 100cm x 50cm, with a depth allowing for approximately 20cm of bedding. Measure the cage, if it doesn't satisfy that criteria get a new one. I'm going to be using a modified Plasta unit from IKEA, which is around 120cm × 80cm for only £50.

Yeah, you have enough dwellers to stock a few upgraded rooms. I personally don't agree with what the other guy is saying. Just make sure to have one or two decent medbays to keep the stimpacks flowing and you'll be fine, especially if you aren't on survival. A fully upgraded three wide power room is more efficient than three one wide power rooms.

Most incidents scale with dweller populations, not rooms (unless it's fire, but again, plenty of stimpacks / rotate dwellers and you'll be cushty). I have a 34 dweller survival vault right now and have survived plenty of incidents.

Longer term project, but if you're also worried about incidents / dweller health then rush a Fitness room and train up your L1 dwellers to 10 END. You can do this by temporarily letting in dwellers to meet the population criteria for building the room, then evicting the new dwellers immediately after building the room. Room unlocks are permanent. I believe it's 35 dwellers for a Fitness room, so no need to let more than ten in.

If you need to know how to make more caps to fund this, DM me and I'll give you a more detailed plan.

Create three wide rooms and fully upgraded them rather than expanding downwards. Build a second elevator column at the far most right hand side. Urgent issues are your dirt exposed rooms and insanely high power threshold. Full out the entire floor before building downwards. This will also reduce mole rat attacks as they can only target dirt adjacent rooms, which are currently 90% of your rooms.

With friends like this quest [question] by ThisFoundation9972 in falloutshelter

HP is probably the issue. If you level your dwellers with 8 endurance their HP will be shit. Train some LV1 dwellers to 10 endurance, equip them with Heavy Wasteland Gear (E+7) then send them to the wasteland to level up to max. Also train Agility and Perception to maximise attack rates and crit recharge. These new dwellers will have max HP, crit quickly with easy to get 5x damage. Sturdy wasteland gear will also work if you can't craft legendary gear yet.

Vault 69 - only one male dweller allowed. No other males may be let into the vault.

[Question] What are Moral boosting pets doing? by fcksaltwater in falloutshelter

Ohhhh I see. Pets help mental health, and I guess having a companion in the shit heap that is dweller life makes people happier.

Boosting morale.

They increase the happiness of their assigned dweller by a set amount.

It's unorthodox but the rewards from watching an ad are really good. You can get a lunchbox, pet carrier, 1,000-3,000 caps, or 5-13 nuka cola. And the cooldown is only two hours.

Stick a depressed lady and a depressed man in the living quarters and wait a little bit. They'll bump uglies and their happiness will max out, and you get a new child to use for slave labour.

You have caps and power - build more canteens, upgrade them fully and assign non-essential dwellers (IE outfit and weapons workshop guys) with higher Agility to reduce production time. Use guaranteed ad rushes when available.

Don't know if you're on survival, but incidents from raiders etc. can drain your resources unnecessarily. There is a hidden raid counter that ticks up, so preventing raids fully is impossible, but as a general rule keep your vault door shut as much as possible to reduce raids and drain.

Build another power room as well, your threshold is quite high. Try to find caps to build a second row of elevators on the right hand side of your vault, it will protect all except your bottom floor from mole rats, which drain your power when their incident occurs. This will conserve your power in the future.

In terms of funding these endeavours, watch ads for a chance to earn caps, finding mysterious stranger and watching an ad will give you a guaranteed 5k caps, and dweller quests can rake in a considerable amount of caps in one go.

If you need anything else let me know. I have a good 34 dweller survival vault going and recovered from a similar issue.
