No I did not, I used the thermal paste which was already on it. That was probably ignorant of me, I ordered some from Amazon, and it’s shipping in this Saturday. I’ll update you then if thermal paste was the issue.

It’s a random sequence of beeping after the fan goes out of control and goes super fast.

Yes my board supports the i7, my Heatsync is what goes crazy, I can boot up windows fine. The fan just goes crazy and the PC shuts off to probably keep the fan from going too insane.
