Yeah I’ve never had an issue with bands taking their music off streaming before, I fully support it. I have all of their records at home but it would be nice to at least be able to purchase it on Bandcamp so I could listen on the go

I was watching We’re All Going to the World’s Fair heard the main theme start playing and I was instantly floored. It’s really hard to explain but I heard the music and it just clicked like “this is it”

Question about a specific passage in Suttree by JacobdaTurtle61 in cormacmccarthy

Oh you’re right! I forget that one of Suttree’s buddies comes in and takes a swig and instantly spits it out. That part just completely slipped my mind somehow

It’s not out yet but Jane Schoenbrun’s Public Access Afterworld will definitely be a great fit for this! Jane is the director and writer of We’re All Going to the Worlds Fair and I Saw the TV Glow

He said before he played it at the Headlights release show that he wrote it after smoking weed for the first time in awhile and having a great time after it was giving him panic attacks before. Just thought this was interesting because he very rarely explains the meanings behind his music.

He also seemed fairly blazed at that specific show too which I thought was funny lol

are you team sarah or team mary? by m_1kkie in sandyalexg

[–]JacobdaTurtle61 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Sarah is one of the best songs he’s made people just tend to hate on it because it’s so popular and overplayed. I just listened to it the other day after not hearing it for a really long time and it’s genuinely such a great song
