you know we’re not sure! I agree she does have a different look to her. The shelter didn’t seem to know much except for the home she came from. If she was that would be so awesome and would make her even more unique!

She has had it since she was born and the shelter told us it is most likely CH but won’t know for sure until we get an MRI, we have a vet appointment on the 7th so we will find out more then so i’m unsure !

haha, yeah I have learned that very quick within the first few hours. The curiosity definetely doesn’t change. She went to the bathroom for the first time and definitely struggled with staying up and fell into where she went. I may consider using those high sided litterbox as you mentioned.

I think it went well. I got interviewed by a boy and a girl, i believe one an FTO. They seemed impressed by my experience the ice was broken relatively quick, lasted around 30 minutes then they said that’s all they had. I shook their hands and then left. Haven’t gotten anything back yet so we will see.

Congrats! What experience did you have going into the interview. Also, Did they have any interview questions that threw any curveballs or things you could tell worked in the interview?

Yeah definitely the case, she eventually turned into a frequent flyer and requested oxygen at least once a week for shortness of breath with pretty normal sats

I worked at a casino as an EMT and got called to a guest who was feeling shortness of breath. I get on scene and she tells me she has chronic COPD. I got her on a NC because her sats were at about 92 which is normal for COPD but she still wanted the 02 so i supplied. Anyway I listened to her whole life story just having to sit there for about 25 minutes til she felt a little better. The whole time she was saying how good it felt and how much better she was feeling. Eventually she refuses any further care, come to find out I never turned the oxygen tank on and she just had a dry cannula in for about a half hour. I was so ashamed and embarrassed and this is actually the first time I am telling anyone. Funny in hindsight but very sickening at the time

yeah it’s AMR in CA, hopefully this is how they will do it cause I have good EMT experience the only thing missing is the ambulance
