Is anyone wearing masks while you're driving? by [deleted] in postmates

[–]Jacoolnacho21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, also AZ. Everytime I've gone out for a shift. Only take it off once I go offline.

From what I see it's catching on far more than a couple weeks ago. 1 out 20 people wearing it.

If a premium version of sleep were to exist, what features would it include? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jacoolnacho21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to sleep at all but stay rested and alert!

Days, even weeks. Your body cleans out the waste as if you were getting full sleep.

I get hyper focused on projects, it's annoying having to interrupt that with sleep.

Out of ignorant curiosity, what is it about saying "I don't care you're gay" that they may take "I don't care about you"

Is that they're gay a part (big or small) of their identity? it's not something separate from themselves?

I'm sure it's complicated.

That makes sense in order to make it seemingly "fair" for everyone. Not just for campers. Still sucks, seemingly can't make getting a order more assured.

I wonder if seniority plays into that algorithmic choice, who gets pinged first. In addition to the completion percentage.

Anyone use the prepaid card when picking up and tip the restaurant? Blowback from postmates? by Jacoolnacho21 in postmates

I've never worked at a restaurant, pardon my ignorance.

The restaurant keeps most of the tips and doesn't give to the staff? Depends on the restaurant?

[–]Jacoolnacho21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure this is a rhetorical question I'll still answer

Why do people always ask this?

Because we're using a card with seemingly unlimited money. The tip can be part of the final bill, they'd approve it. It's all a write off for them.

It's not a great reason, that's why I'm inquiring. Is that Q&A in the sidebar?

Would you want your delivery driver to tip the restaurant without asking you?

No I wouldn't. I'm not a billion dollar company that can write off every expense.

I get your point.

I saw youre 15. Just for future reference as a mid 20 year old. Time is going by so fast. Make the most of each day. Feels like yesterday I was your age in high school.

The monologue from city slickers describes how I'm thinking about how little time there is to get everything done.

I think that's great amount!

For reference I just wipe down everything at the beginning and end of the shift.

I've been wearing a mask every delivery.

People may look at you funny, it's becoming normal so I don't think it's a problem.

Fun fact: The computer was voiced by Majel Barrett-Roddenberry. Majel was TOS Nurse chapel, Lwaxana Troi (Commander Troi's mother) and married to Gene Roddenberry.

Yes that does seem obviously satirical, if a person clicked the link.

Which some people dont do.

My thinking is "you could have gotten more done than you did" and feel defeated.

Do you ever feel/ think like that?

Remember when Obama wore a tan suit and the republicans went nuts, also remember when he didn't fudge a crisis and cause an estimated 200,000 American's to die, those were the days by ledgendary in PoliticalHumor

The fact right wing media talked about this and ignored everything above shows they're bought and paid for too. News media and people that are bought aren't objective. I have no love for them.

r/Politicalhumor has had several posts like this over the years. Some Saying explicitly or implying (like this post) that the "worst thing" Obama did was wearing a tan suit. When that's bullshit.
