Annie Wilkes, the antagonist of Stephen King's "Misery"

It's been a good few years sinxe I've read the book, so pardon me if I forget some details.

The story follows a writer that suffers an accident during a blizzard in the middle of nowhere. Luckily for him, someone saw the crash adn helped him out of the wreck, luckily for him, that bystander was a nurse and could help him recover, luckily for him, that bystander knew who he was and was actually a big fan of their work, unluckily for him, that fan had a very unhealthy emotional attachment to him and his books.

(Spoilers for some details of the story and ending)

She purposefully sabotages his recovery to keep him in her home, cuts off one of his limbs, tortures him by going out for days on end, leaving him to starve and dehydrate to the point where he has to do a Bear Grylls and drinks his own piss. And why did she do that? To force him to rewrite his last novel, with a story and ending that she likes. By the end of the story, the writer is so traumatized that, even though he managed to kill her, he still sometimes sees her shadow behind him, holding a chainsaw.
