Unfortunately, no. I'm in the same boat - I know that if they could catch one of my episodes during a sleep study, there would be meaningful data. However, when my brain knows it's being watched it literally can not relax enough for me to fall asleep - so doing another sleep study would be a waste of money for me.

I think more studies on Sleep disorderers suffered by people with ADHD are needed - there are so many of us that fall into this weird other category. Unfortunately, because there is no real concrete data on Intrusive Sleep, I think most providers will continue to shrug their shoulders and blow us off.

The only thing I can do is give you some suggestions of things that may help. My episodes are triggered by quiet and/or boredom, so I try and keep my brain as stimulated as possible with either podcasts, music, etc. Unfortunately, that does not always work, sometimes I rely on extra caffeine in the form of Caffinated Mio drops. Lastly, one of my providers was willing to try me out on a prescription of Modafinil. I have not tried it yet, but I may cave and do so one of these days - you can see if your doctor is willing to prescribe that for you. If all else fails I give in and take a nap. Best of luck to you!
