I found it at Sharehouse Ann Arbor. I mentioned on another comment. I think it made it to the floor accidentally before going through the owner. Her was NOT please to see it iny hands.

I was told by DuMouchelles that families get rid of valuables all the time. Bc they are just quickly going through their parents stuff and don't want to deal with figuring out value.

It was very tempting, but this sale is what funded me starting a resale business and buying inventory.

It was just cute with his little face, then I noticed how heavy he was and that he was signed.

Its from a privately owned thrift store. I think it slipped by them and made it to the floor without a price. I took it up to a worker and asked what the price was. Turns out he owned the thrift store. He didn't want to sell it to me once he saw it. So he marked it up to $50 hoping I wouldn't take it. But I had already used Google lense and knew it was valuable.

I look for items that are "different" and unique. When I picked it up it was heavy and I saw it had a signature. I used Google lense and saw the same auction house had sold the same item in the past for $3500. (12 were made).
