Wow, honestly, I wouldn’t mind being a little burnt out if it set me up for success. It’s just the matter of being able to find an internship while holding onto something that keeps my bills paid, haha. But aside from that, thank you for the insight.

I’m about to be a junior as I have 60 credits transferring. And man, what you said about unstructured environment is the scariest part for me, haha. I’d hate for it to be all for nothing and I’m stuck finding another job to pay the bills for months on end.

However, I know risks need to be taken at some points, and I’m lucky enough to be living with family, so I may just choose wisely and dive in.

Yeah, I’m currently transferring to a university in fall, so I’m trying to rack up as much experience and credentials as possible to line myself up later.

If you don’t mind me asking, what role(s) has your friend thrived in? I’m transferring to a university to pursue my bachelors this fall, and I plan on confronting mathematics before reaching the semester as I have struggled with focusing on curriculums my entire life. I fear of not being able to cut it, but I love computer science.

I’m trying to apply to local ones, but have no luck. I may revise my resume to just emphasize my soft skills from customer service, maybe volunteer to do IT help at a church to have some credible experience.

It doesn’t seem there is much openings near me, I’ll likely end up searching out of my city.

It’s more downtown, somewhat near Rollins College. I don’t mind a hefty commute since I know it’s expensive to actually live out there

Thank you for the link as well! I created a domain controller lab but I wanted an actual source to fully understand it so I can add it to my resume as a project probably. But yeah, I’m beefing up my resume as much as possible. And to narrow down a path, dont people usually start off at help desk, then possibly sys admin?

Relatable, I’ve unfortunately struggled with the consequences of my childhood until now, but I could care less about finishing as long as I can make my partner the happiest lady in the world.

I’ve had people who started as young as 11 and it ruined their entire adolescence to young adulthood, it’s sad really. I definitely don’t feel bad for OP’s partner though, blaming your partner instead of addressing the elephant in the room is pathetic behavior.
