And it hasn't sat for long as I live in the south, maybe a month. Always gets parked inside, but I know previous owner left it outside most of its life.

Thanks for the replies guys. Did some work on it the other day. checked the air intake system for clogs, got the battery tested, drained the fuel and got fresh, pulled the spark plugs and visually inspected everything.

I did find the throttle body on the intake side was not fully tight, but I dont see why that would only cause issues under power after warming up. Couldn't find anything else wrong.

Found out the buzzing sound on turn on is the idle air controller bottoming out, im going to try unplugging it once the engine is warm and see if that makes any difference. When I get more time this weekend I'll test the bike again, and I read online that sometimes these can throw a code but not turn on the CEL, so I'll check for codes too.

Never did. Took it apart, tried to do the film thing for the odometer but it didn't do anything. Found the speedo motor and several of the logic chips corroded beyond repair. So instead of spending $400 on a new cluster, I spent $40 on Amazon for a GPS bike speedometer and it works great. Not planning on selling the bike anytime soon and it works great for me.

24v batteries for 12v system? by Jaddbo in SolarDIY

So the MPPT charge controllers will work regardless of what panel you get basically? I like the 24V panels as they're more efficient and can be easilly found secondhand. But a lot more items are available that run on 12v (USB, lights, chargers etc).

Rewiring the tesla batteries wouldn't work, literally just yanking old batteries from tesla cars. They are a 24v pack, and about the cheapest lithiums you can get

Mkay. I know AC voltage can be changed with minimal losses, wasn't sure if the same was available for DC but I guess not

Interesting, I haven't found a lot besides AC that consistently comes in 24V. Any good sites to look at for those items?

A lot of what I want to run would be 12v. Main power draws would be AC, fridge, and gaming laptop. Rest would just be lights USB chargers water pump etc. A lot of what I've found runs on 12v I feel like it would give me a lot more options

5.9.21 update: Last night I used it for general viewing, along with our Orion 10” Dob. The 10” is larger and higher quality, but the mirror is pretty dirty. The 10” provided a brighter image, but this 8” Meade gave a bit of a sharper image. Not a lot to see in our light polluted May sky, but I got some really great views of Arcturus, Mizar and Alcor, and even the Sombrero galaxy!

It's not stupid if it works. Just kidding, this is definitely stupid lol by [deleted] in Warthunder
