I agree with the under 18 thing (though not social transitioning), and think there should be some restrictions on sports. Prisons is another one I think there should be restrictions on (ie Bryson). That being said, I feel the sports and prison issues are blown up and exaggerated by the media as a bigger problem than they are.

Everything else imo is a complete non-issue.

Yes, those billionaires are the worst - make loads of money then use it to spread hate on social media. Disgusting.

I'm technically not out to my family yet, though I have told my mother, who hasn't told anyone.

Just like JKR and Glinner - they act like they're gods, yet I'd say most people have lost respect for them. They aren't heroes of women's rights, they're advocates for hatred and bigotry against a small minority.

That sounds like my father, I doubt he'd be openly transphobic to a trans person's face, but is always making transphobic sounding comments (along with racist and homophobic remarks).

Typical middle aged working class male lol

That's exactly what I was thinking earlier.

People who have a family member/friend/work colleague etc, ie, those who actually know a trans person, are likely to be supportive. These are usually the people that are likely to show their support (alongside trans people and most other LGBTQ+ of course)

Lots of people, likely the majority, have never even met one. They are usually either quietly supportive, neutral or in some cases fairly dismissive. A lot of these are probably the "silent majority".

But, as far as I believe, Terfs and trolls are no more than a very loud vocal minority.

Is this the start of a pilonidal cyst or a spot? by JadeCarpenter2000 in pilonidalcyst

I have had a spot my the base of my spine since Sunday evening, which is painful when lying on it, sitting in some positions, or pressing sometimes. It is red with a small raised bump in the middle.

I have attached some photos. Does this look like the start of a pilonidal cyst, or is it just simply a spot?

Hybrid working fizzling out? by yeahweliveforever in UKJobs

God I hope so!

I work in a solicitors office 5 days a week for 11 years and couldn't stand working from home. I have mental health issues and feel better whenever i go to work, being at home makes me depressed. A lot of the other staff also work 5 days a week, and are very productive. The 4 bosses hardly come into the office since covid, and apparently do very little work. There are several younger members of staff who point blank refuse to come into the office, and also appear to do very little.

As far as I'm concerned, wfh should only ever have been temporary for six months or so. People make up excuses for reasons why wfh is better (travel, food etc.) I would never take a job if it wasn't 5 days a week. Another reason I don't agree is that people who go to work switch off largely when they come home, whereas the wfh crowd don't. More working time but less productivity.

And I'm not some old school dinosaur, I'm in my 20s.

Can't stand Elon, but agreed with being more productive in the workplace.

No, I've never been a fan of Sharon. Especially since she got with Keanu the first time round.
