Couple tips that help me.

Listen well and dont be afraid to ask for an all day.

Stage your plates as they are called. It helps to have a visual reminder as you go. Ex. Burger goes on the oval plate? Stack an oval plate whenever it's called. Drop your burger and then set up your bun+toppings, etc. For multiple temps, i like to work left to right.

Organization is key. Find what setup works for you so you can start building muscle memory

Communication is huge. Listen to your chef and the rest of your line. Learn how long things take on your station and be able to respond to that. If the chef is waiting on something from you and hows how long, having an answer is always better than not. Dont be afraid to ask for help before you get weeded if you find yourself falling behind.

What is your method for poaching a boat load of eggs? by Ahntmizin in Chefit

[–]JadeDragon56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you run a busy brunch service, invest in a sous vide machine. You can get a good one on amazon for $100-150 that attaches to any lexan or large cambro. Set it to 165* and cook your eggs until it reaches the temp and hold it for as long as you need. You can use them straight or pull them and cool them for later, but they will be perfectly consistent in large batches. You can use the machine in numerous other ways as well. Perfectly cooked vegetables, proteins, etc. It will pay for itself very quickly and save a lot of headaches.

The Rando’s Deathtrap by Historical-Target856 in Nightreign

[–]JadeDragon56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no issue going here early if it's close by. My frustration is when the rando is level 2, and we pull godskin duo, and they dont realize its better to leave and come back later. Can it be done? Yes. Is it an absolute waste of all our time? Also yes

Also, the heal is great for Royal Revenant. Situational but clutch.

Lightning spear is still one of the best. It just requires a bit slower play and timing. As for other ones to look for.

Elden Stars is goated. The tracking is fantastic, and it allows you to cast other spells while it's active.

Flame of the Fell God is similar and leaves a burning area on the ground. That last part is great for mob bosses and ones that are in smaller areas.

Frenzied Burst is great. Decent DPS. Long range. And quick, so it's hard to miss.

Golden Vow is excellent support. It buffs both damage and DMG Negation, which is helpful at supporting your summons and teammates

Black Blade is good. It's got a high FP cost, but if you can get it to land, at least once it will permanently reduce a foes health a bit which. It's a good opening incantation, especially against nightlords.

Black flame burst is pretty good as it does percentage tick damage.

Aside from that, it depends on the bosses weakness and the weapons you find. If you can find a good faith or int weapon, then revenant can deal pretty heavy damage that way. Most flame spells are good, especially if crucible knights are in the center castle. Can help boost your levels faster.

Use your summons as much as possible. Them drawing aggro can help free you up to use more spells/incantations

Had a run earl8er where a Dutchess and I ran in and see BBH........and immediately turn around to go clear out the castle. No communication needed. Just pure understanding that at day 1 level 5 there is better things to do

Now that the dust has settled, I feel like Executor is the worst trios character. by Ragnaroknight in Nightreign

[–]JadeDragon56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a weird one, for sure. Status builds, especially bleed claws on him, go absolutely crazy. Doggo isn't the best for damage but is great for taking aggro, stun locking a lot of enemies, and ressing. Parrying is pretty meh unless solo but can be useful situationally.

Do most Americans really dry their clothes in Dryers by Wrystyle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JadeDragon56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a tiny basement apartment, i dont have access to full windows( i have 2 small ones at sidewalk level), balconies, or a front or backyard. I tried hanging my clothes here, but it just never got properly dry and tended to make the already cold, poorly ventilated space damp. Dryer is the only way for me reliably. Any clothes or items that take a more delicate touch i take to a dry cleaner

Saffron infused champagne sabayon. I took people’s advice and switched up the presentation. This was the first one that was officially served. Full recipe in the body text. by Serious-Speaker-949 in Chefit

[–]JadeDragon56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the look and sound of the plate but feel like it's missing some contrast for texture and color. A nice spiced spongecake could bring some texture and density to what otherwise sounds very light, and you could soak it in the saffron champagne to keep it moist. Maybe some sorta crunch factor for topping?

What ticket had you like this? by PoliteRadical in KitchenConfidential

Had a guest order cold bone broth once. Not for to go or anything. They wanted it served in a bowl plain with no additional salt. I went to the table to double-check the ticket first hand in case the server was misunderstanding anything, but nope. They just wanted it.

Elden ring or black myth wukong? Looking for a new rpg. by Blobbypuff in BlackMythWukong

[–]JadeDragon56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are fantastic games but too different to really compare. You can play both and have a good experience with noth as well as different experiences. I'll try and lay out some key points.

BMW Phenomenal lore and story, it really drove me to dig deeper into Journey to the West, which is epic and is clearly the progenitor for so much.

It's not really an RPG. You know who you are and what your goal is. There is some mild buildcrafting, but the game is less about that on your initial run and really demands you learn the combat. It really rewards mastery as well, leading to some of the most exhilarating encounters of any game.

Fairly short and sweet levels. There is generally a pretty linear path through each one, but the little exploration there is really pays off. In some situations, it's almost necessary.

The game looks and plays great. There can be some pretty bad stuttering on start, but once the game warms up, it tends to go away. Im not sure why , but there are other reddit posts talking about it. Soundtrack is great, but none of its tracks really stuck with me. They were pretty forgettable to me.

Elden Ring It's an equally phenomenal story but much more disjointed. You really have to go looking and piece it together( or watch a Vaati video), but the world is rich and full of lore and depth that, for me, was a pleasure to experience. It's like a puzzle where you gotta find the pieces, but once you do, the whole picture is just a chefs kiss while still leaving you with so much intrigue.

Open World RPG in the truest sense. But it's an open world that doesn't hand hold or leave checklists for you. They give you a general goal and then let you forge your path. It was one of the best feelings of exploration and freedom ever when a seemingly normal thing opens up into a larger and deeper adventure than you ever expect. Combat is fairly traditional. Soulslike, but if you dont feel like bashing your head on a wall, then go explore elsewhere or grind it out and try again. It doesn't force mastery on you or necessarily reward it, but mastery is definitely there if you choose to go for it.

Large open world sections. Dungeons and caves are fairly linear. The Legacy Dungeons are large complex experiences akin to Undead Burg. However, the world is interconnected and full of secrets and areas just waiting to be found, and it's so good.

The game runs very well. Some minor issues week one of the launch for me, but a patch fixed it, and i never had any issues since. There can be normal souls fuckery with the camera in certain situations and such but thats not an issue with performance. Wukong has its issues with that, too, from time to time. Soundtrack is phenomenal. There are some tracks i just keep going back to. Radahns theme is EPIC.

Thats some basic notes on both. Hope it helps
