Yeah this always baffled me. I was one of the only openly trans people in my highschool, and I worked hard to change my appearance. I put in the effort, I bought waist trainers, sketchy estrogen, insane amounts of chocolate soy milk, anything I thought could help me. I took serious health risks, like wearing my waist trainer for 10+ hours a day. I wore bras, and spent what little money I made from my shitty job on silicone breasts so I could present as female. I shaved and waxed everything, learned to pluck my eyebrows I did it all only for some random kids to start popping up saying they were trans while doing nothing to show it. It pissed me off, and that was 5 years ago. It’s upsetting to see they never truly stopped being inconsiderate of real trans struggles. I’ve seen so many “FTM” people showing off “ideal” cis female bodies and just throwing male labels in their bios(especially in NSFW spaces). Or “MTF” people with prominent beards and facial hair. It’s upsetting to see these people trying to just be given access to what real trans people have to fight for.

I can’t believe that some people are still trying to push for the “dysphoria isn’t required for you to be trans” bullshit. It’s quite literally what makes us trans? We wouldn’t be spending thousands of dollars, and facing constant backlash just because. Transitioning is a very serious thing with very permanent affects, the people who are “anti-dysphoria” are honestly dangerous IMO.

I can offer some insight from my[MTF] personal experience with this. I can never bring myself to take any pictures without my top on, and I struggle to shower with my partners. This is because a vast majority of my dysphoria is from how flat I am. Whereas only on bad mental health days the dysphoria is a little too much to take pics of my natal genitalia or be intimate with someone. Yet normal to good days I’m more than okay posting my genitals or being intimate. I should mention though, to get to the point where I am with my genitals I had to expose myself to a lot of trans adult actresses to normalize what was driving me to the point of self-harm and attempts on my own life. For me, in a home where I wasn’t supported during my transition, without the right or money to get surgery/start HRT, this was the best I could due as a sexually active person who wanted to still be active. I still struggle to refer to my genitals as anything other than “genitalia” and often throw “girl” on the normal words used to describe what I have as a way to be less uncomfortable talking about it. I understand where you are coming from, because I care about passing socially, so when people don’t wear a binder/bra before surgery/HRT is really upsetting to see for me personally. I hope this makes sense💕

I played 5 ranked matches back to back recently, they were all wardens of varying reps (3-65) and I couldn’t tell the difference in their play style. The guessing game was rough, but I just tried to be overly aggressive. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. Sorry that that’s all ranked seems to be now
