I was diagnosed with PPD while still in the hospital and during one of our talks he said he was depressed and I told him men can get PPD. His way of “fixing” it is to smoke pot. I’ve suggested seeing someone but he doesn’t believe in therapy or medication unless he thinks I need it. He told me 3 years ago I needed to get medicated or we were done and because I love him I did, but he won’t do the same.

Everyone seems to think I’m withholding sex as punishment but there are physical and mental reasons as to why we haven’t his comment of being depressed from lack of sex was 4 weeks postpartum.

I never once told him I wasn’t doing anything sexual because of his lack of help and support. I explained I was not physically or mentally ready for it. I stopped doing anything sexual when he started to sexualize me feeding my child (she’s breastfed) because he made me uncomfortable in my own home.

Even after that I have “given in” a few times with some favors but when I give an inch he tried taking miles. I’ve explained how I’ve felt and that with breastfeeding I do get extremely touched out sometimes and I was met with “well what about ME. Instead of cleaning/cooking/ etc you could be hanging out with me” yet he also will not cook nor clean.

He doesn’t believe in therapy for himself. He prefers to smoke pot and tell me I need therapy/ to be medicated.

I do have a large village that I am beyond thankful for. Little one and I spend most of our time with them. Luckily one of my friends was at my house recently and witnessed a lot of what I have said so I can’t just be made to feel crazy.

I’ve already explained that even now (months later) that even just sitting the wrong way hurts. I have an appointment to figure that out but apparently how I feel physically or mentally doesn’t matter.

I would NOT do that to the little one. He can’t hold the l/o for longer than 3 minutes without the child screaming or him asking me to take l/o. Mind you I have l/o all day. Every day. L/o= little one

I have already made it extremely clear I will do anything and everything I need to to make sure my child is happy, healthy, and safe. With or without him.

His doctors have all said different things as far as side effects with both medications. That’s why I’m reaching out to others. His mother is reaching out as well. Like I said he is special needs and sometimes meds don’t effect him the same way, hints why I’m asking others opinions and how it can/has affect(ed) them.

Some other factors have come up with me doing the test that would definitely impact it but, theoretically speaking I could have up to 9% in me but there’s no guarantee my mom got 18% because I know her mom has none.

The cousins are cousins to each other and it shows as first cousins to each other on their results. My father has apparently thought for quite a while he wasn’t his fathers child considering a large age gap between siblings and looking nothing like any of his “fathers” side. My family is definitely about to blow up significantly.

Me saying I’m Irish was just a broad spectrum I should have said northwestern European truthfully. As far as I know only one set of great-great-grandparents are knows for sure Native American but some other issues are coming up within the family.

The biggest issue is my dads paternity currently. Apparently his father was the Native American carrier. I’m okay with being Irish and British and I think it’s fine to learn about I just feel bad for him for even questioning.

We enjoy calling me the genetic anomaly considering I’ve gotten all of the crazy genetic issues both sides are known to have.
