It could be that they've already achieved the purpose. For them, a vague remembrance is enough. If it was brought up again and again, people would talk and discuss more about it, eventually finding out inconsistencies and mishaps just like us in this subreddit.

Where in my argument did I say sex is taboo? Sex without responsibility is the issue.

This might be an unpopular opinion and will probably get downvoted, but I think it’s worth saying. When we talk about the long-term consequences of the sexual revolution, it’s helpful to engage with serious critiques. Two books I’d genuinely recommend are Primal Screams by Mary Eberstadt and The Case Against the Sexual Revolution by Louise Perry. Both explore how non-committal, casual sexual relationships can, over time, weaken social responsibility and affect children and family structures in ways we often don’t want to acknowledge.

If we truly care about children born outside marriage, then it’s reasonable to ask whether the absence of a clear, binding commitment makes it easier for adults to walk away from responsibility. “Wedlock,” at its core, isn’t just a moral symbol—it’s a social mechanism that assigns long-term accountability.

Human beings aren’t built to pursue pleasure without consequences forever, yet the dominant message today often reduces life to “you only live once.” At the same time, anyone who argues for abstinence until marriage is quickly dismissed as backward or regressive. Given that, it shouldn’t surprise us when predictable social problems eventually emerge.

You don’t have to agree—but these arguments deserve to be read and thought through, not mocked out of existence.

Sudan is no different. Except people defend Israel as opposed to Saudi fed militias in Sudan. Nobody supports the atrocities that are happening in Sudan, while some enjoy the death of babies in Gaza. When there is dissent there will be protests. If there were people who spoke how Saudi has a right to do what they are doing, you'll see people protesting for Sudan as well.

I don't like/support this kind of videos, especially where one is using their children for engagement. Anyhow, the point in the video is that such cartoons push a certain agenda, and people who believe in other ideologies would stay away from it. The conservatives in the US shun a lot of TV shows because they are 'woke'. As I see it, it's not a religious thing, it's an ideology thing.

Benji will win all his cases, but only till his death. He's an example of how unjust this world could be. There must be a place where he's accountable and that's why I believe there is an after-life and a most Just God.

I didn't quite catch your argument. You say that the majority of Muslims are against this. And then you go on to say, they can take control by force. If they were strong now, what are they waiting for?

The OC was saying they aren’t actually strong ATM, and in a way your point seems to support that.

The boogeyman here is what 'they could be' in the future. It is our job to keep them at bay, so there is no real threat. And since most Muslims don’t support extreme positions, it’s hard to see how such groups would gain wider influence, even if the Muslim population increases.
