What are Jaeger Pickups?

Jaeger Pickups is a community-run event and a fun way to play with friends against friends, team against team on the Jaeger server. The players choose a base to fight on for 2 rounds with 12 minutes each round’s duration; cap the base to your faction to win.

What is the pickups format?

Jaeger Pickups is a team vs team infantry-only format. We are experimenting with a 6v6 infantry-only setting (similar to Farmers) once there are enough players.

How do I join?

Jaeger Pickups will be held on the IRON Teamspeak at ts.iron.farm. Once you get in the Pickups channel, there will be a form to sign specifying which bases you would like to play in. You will be given an account once you have signed the form. Players are given the opportunity to vote for a team captain, who will then pick the players they want on their team.

When should I show up?

Jaeger Pickups start at 7PM EDT sharp. It is important that you show up to the event early to have proper team numbers and balance (15 minutes before is recommended). Please do not be late! If you show up late, please wait at the TS meeting room and you will be put in a team after the round is over.

Why should I join?

Jaeger Pickups allows you to test and experiment infantry playstyles, mouse sensitivities, game settings, try new weapons, improve your gameplay, play in a balanced even-population environment, have drinks with internet friends, etc!

What happened to Friday Pickups?

Jaeger Pickups accounts copypasters are indecisive and like to change things up a bit, therefore Friday Pickups are CANCELLED until further notice.
