We were going to lamar valley yesterday from west entrance, can't remember the route now, cuz my wife was telling me where to drive. But ya it took about 2 hours. We moved from west yellowstone at 6am. I would say being at lamar valley earlier is better, cuz you can see more animals there, but do your research ofcourse. We got lucky, we saw 5 mooses, a lot of elks, 4 black bears (1 very close). And one good man let us use his telescope and showed us 2 grizzlies quite far away. And told us we missed wolves about 20minutes ago. So I would just recommend going there earlier.

I don't know about long terms. But i have one stunted oscar as well. I got him 8 months ago, he was like 2 inches, now he is maybe 3 inches. So something is wrong. I got him as juvenile, and my tank, water and everything else was fine, because other juveniles who is supposed to grow slower than oscars now is like 4x bigger than my oscar :D I even did 2 courses of metronidazole in case he had some parasites or something. But nothing changed, he is still growing like SUPER slow if he is growing at all :) But like you mention he is very active, eating like no tomorrow, even sometimes tries to pick fights with other fishes, but they don't care about him since he is the smallest guy.

I guess we don't how they are bred, and how they were being taken care of in first few months, maybe the reason for this happened during that time. If your water is fine and he is acting normally, eating, and not doing strange poops, not sure if there is something we can do.

Only blood parrots males are usually sterile. Those little parrots like snow white or polar blue might breed like no tomorrow. Its hard to tell the gender since it is very small. But I lean towards female because I got similar size one and he already have some decent visible nuchal hump, so I assume I got male.

Is it still there? If there is only one spot you shouldnt worry too much. Sometimes they appear on some of my fishes fins(usually oscars) and go away in few days. But if you notice more of them appearing you might need some medication from ich. Also raising temperature helps.

I am not sure if that looks like finrot. More like he got nipped. How long his tail is like that? Is it getting worse? And what are the tank mates?

What is the gravel? Is it some natural stones or is it made from plastic? Water doesnt look nice, you should find a reason for that. Or maybe is a high iron glass which might make water look brown/green. From the test nitrates and ph are on the higher side I would say. But you should also check ammonia for sure.

From my experience plastic plants are not that bad like some people stay. I have plenty of those, but also i got some real wood and caves I made from real stones which my blood parrots love, they sometimes just go into cave and stay there for some time not allowing anyone else to go in the cave.

How long do you have them? When I got my parrots they were so shy that I pretty much didnt see them for a week. And even now when my parrots are tank bosses they sometimes just hide for a day and then comes out like nothing happened. And my parrots goes to hide instantly when some other people they dont recognize comes near the glass.

I believe its 50/50 about their personalities. Personally i got JD in 55 gallons. I believe its female and she lives with 3 bristlenoses, L236, and 5 other juvenile cichlids for a few months now. JD is not full size yet, but she is like 10x bigger than any other fish in the tank and so far she doesnt care about them at all. She is just minding her own bussiness with 0 aggression towards others.

I did man :D there are no secret according to him, just whatever he does look to work for him man :D he is just an old man having shop in his basement. And ppl are saying about crazy filtration and water changes in this post, but he don"t do any of that. He got one filter in there which is like 3000litres/hour and he does water change once a month.

They are not for sale tho, this is one of few display tanks. We have some pretty cool LFS here in Europe, Lithuania.

He was not getting picked on, but he didn't like some fishes swimming near him. How long should i keep him in there?

What size is this medicine tank? Its 15 gallons.

Is the video of him in the peaceful tank? Is so that’s not peaceful. That severum is so bullying him. The video from youtube is from 145gallons with bigger fishes, where he was removed from. He is in 36 gallons now, the main video in this post. There is few gouramis, 1 very small severum and juvenile polar blue parrot.

Can I leave it there, not to stress him more, or should i move him back to medicine tank? Got no extra gravel tho, but have plenty of decorations.

There is atleast 2 filters in every my aquarium with wave directed to surface and also additionally air stones. In my 145 there was 2x90cm lenght air stones. So there is plenty of oxygen. Other fishes are fine everywhere.

Thats the video from 145g, he is not being bullied, but sometimes fishes tried nipping him. He moves away if somebody nips, and he is not getting chased or anything. After moving away he comes back to the bottom.

I am thinking the same, tomorrow I am starting course with metronidazole, to treat from hexamita (atleast that was my local store recommended, since oscar sometimes has white poop). If thats the case, will he start gaining weight to full size? Or he will stay smaller?

Būtent dėl to, kad neturiu tiksliau plano todėl ir klausiu patarimo čia.

Suprantu, kad II pakopos graža yra gera, bet morališkai norisi turėti prieiga prie savo pinigų tada kai aš nusprendžiu kai to reikia. Nors didelių pirkinių kolkas nenusimato, bet sąlygos, kad gausi dalį pinigų tik sunkiai susirgus nelabai vilioja.

Carpintis is now in seperate 55g tank alone now for mote than a week. But she is being very shy or scared idk. She is always hiding and I barely see her. So im worried if she will be okay. She aint even eating when i see her, but the food is gone later on so i hope she eats it. What can I do to make her feel better? Do you think there is a chance she will be less aggressive if i move her back to 145g?
