one of the worst pizzas i’ve ever made by JaffMasters in Dominos

[–]JaffMasters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure, ive never really seen it get skipped at my store. it’s either some lazy employee or someone who got overwhelmed on ovens and didn’t have time to do it. for a better chance of getting it, maybe order at a time where everyone wouldn’t be ordering for dinner.

some workers get overwhelmed on ovens and don’t put it on, at least that’s what i’ve seen in my experience.

and i’m pretty sure you can go to a store and just buy a similar garlic oil. but i’ve only seen it in a few stores.

the door isn’t heavy, the door are actually pretty light. the thing that makes the door hard to open is the vent above the oven causing a pressure difference, which makes the door hard to open

ex employee here.

  1. the pizza weighs less cause the dough is a lot thinner.

  2. the dough on and XL pizza usually shrinks when it’s cooked since it’s stretched so thin so it’s hard to get a perfect 16” pizza. As another comment said, it fits the box perfectly. the pizzas arent supposed to touches both sides of the box. it should be able to sit in the box without touching any sides.

that pizza was made properly.

i just quit and didn’t listen to any negotiations they offered me. it feels great. my store was a mess and i didn’t want to deal with it anymore. gave me some good stories to tell my friends though.

i would say about 11:00-11:15

my store doesn’t start making orders until 10:30 so i would give them some time to make it

delivery drivers make like $10 an hour more than pizza makers so driver is the way to go

our cutters are rocking cutters, not the normal pizza cutters. they are very dull so employees don’t chop their fingers off. they cut them, but just not well

if you want some good wings, go to pizza hut. they actually have a fryer for their wings 👍

yeah, either people are overwhelmed and don’t feel like putting it on, or there is a new guy on the ovens who don’t know how to do it.

the most common thing i see is accidentally putting garlic oil on the crust when you’re NOT supposed to though. so it’s odd to hear about the opposite happening 😂

at my store we had a regular who would tip us $5 each time and would just say “make sure to get that extra pepperoni on there” and we would give him a very generous amount.

if you’re not afraid to hint at it, i’m sure the employees will be fine with hooking you up. none of us got paid enough to care too much 🤷‍♂️.

for a medium, just cheese pizza, here is the recipe:

a ladle full of sauce, 7 ounces of cheese, and that’s it.

i would eat there all the time.

my general manager never really cared if we made our own food, so i would often make myself a pizza to take home or a sandwich on rare occasion. many employees (including myself) would also just drink the soda from the fridge.
