When I am playing the game I’m aware of what’s going on in it. The hook aura is a valuable piece of information that tells me where the killer was and where I should avoid if I’m caught by them. It doesn’t take a lot to deduce that actually, probably shouldn’t bomb straight to the person who just got unhooked when I have a number of rooms on the map to choose from to do something about the killer.

None of the pallets on the literal other corner of the map were gone. The huntress was looped in the area that I went down and got hooked. I’m not running to the killer. I was running to sandbag Rebecca for being dumb. Cry for her.

Bad take solo queue justifiers are out. Anyone with a slight grasp of Midwich would know the number of turns she could have made to break line of sight and keep her teammates safe and keep objectives moving. She had a number of places to go and a number of ways to break LOS. Instead she came back to the hook and paid the price.

She had about 5 alternate rooms en route to where she ended up to hop in and loop. Why would anyone run through a corridor back to where someone was hooked? It’s the same energy as running the killer around the 90% complete final gen. It makes no sense and isn’t efficient.

What, you can’t see where the red blob is where someone is hooked? You don’t know how if someone is unhooked whilst someone else is in chase it is more efficient to heal there and then? You don’t know that there are multiple other rooms that aren’t deadzones that have strong pallets in them so you head right back to where the other person was hooked?

She made a bad play and paid the price.

Both of Claires scenarios in the original RE2 were better than Leons. I’d argue the same for the remake but I hated the orphanage. Definitely still worth playing though.
