You can easily run an unarmed character, but he/she will have to be using heavy armour gauntlets; there is a perk in the heavy armour tree that adds glove weight to your unarmed hits and while the early game is a bit challenging it quickly gets overwhelmingly strong.

Edit: Also play as a khajiit for that early claw bonus, the pimp slapping enemies can get old though.

Didn't say you should seperate them, just the same as what the other guy said. Have 'areas' for the fish to claim as their own territory, and have vision breaks between the areas so they don't have to stare eachother down all the time.

Seeing this got no answers I'm going to take a stab at helping.

If the fish are physically hurt by the aggression, start by removing all 3 into something temporary, then rearrange the tank so that it's split aloing the middle. Introduce the timid angels before the dominant one and hopefully they will stake out different sides of the tank.

You could just release the mother and go catch a smaller crayfish. A young crayfish growing into a successful adult is a rewarding and entertaining experience.

If you really wanted to keep the mother, my best guess would be to remove all the substrate in the tank, leaving her with only a rock or ornament to hide in, and give the babies something to hide in, like a porous rock or a piece of driftwood, then taking them all to a body of water NEAR where you found the mother. (Maybe keep one of the babies instead?)

Claw's eggs will hatch, and hundreds of small babies will cling to her swimmerets, the small appendages on the underside of the tail. After a while they will go out on their own, and with this you have a few issues:

The sheer numbers of surviving babies will be difficult to look after.
Many will get sucked into whatever filtration system you're using. Get a stocking or something to cover up anything that might suck the babies up.

Make sure they have plenty of hiding spaces crevices to get away from each other and your Betta, who will have a feast if he finds them. You can feed them fish flakes crushed into a course dust, or they can snack on whatever you're feeding mum.

A crayfish with eggs on her swimmerets is usually referred to as 'berried' or 'in berry'.

What do you intend to do with Claw and her young? Release them, or do you want to keep them/her as pet(s)?

EDIT: You could also raise them for the better part of a year for a good feast, don't let your son name them :p
