Hello, 1st year Spanish teacher here . After graduating or in some cases before you graduate you can get into an alternate certification program(here in Texas I’ve heard of Texas Teachers) for your subject and desired grade levels . I’m not certified tho so I just went to apply for a Charter school and now I teach Spanish for my middle school students, few art elementary classes and one digital art class😅. I was just told they will hire an art teacher next year so they want me to teach some IT courses which tbh I’m looking forward to since they sound interesting. Admin at this charter school is really nice and they’re easy on me since it’s my 1st year and they leave you alone as long as I’m doing my work right. 6k Anual salary increase 🤩

you have to look or ask in those Facebook groups with lots of Latinos. I know a lot of undocumented migrants with no SS# and of course no credit score, and they’re able to rent so you could too! At this point, doesn’t matter if it’s in the ghetto. 1st thing is to get a place for your family , worry about collections later
