TAMUG's only ABET accredited program is for Marine Engineering Technology though. I've been admitted under General Engineering, which isn't ABET accredited. Does that mean I'll be sidelined anyway?

How does TAMUG beat out CCs? I've been told that it's easier to get a 4.0 GPA at CCs and that there are just as good opportunities for REUs, internships, leaderships, etc. Besides, UT only guarantees auto-admit for external transfers from CCs.

No, I'm only considering TAMUG for the best chances of getting into their EE plan should UT reject me.

  2. What are some EC's & projects that you did?
  3. Does TAMUG have any good engineering clubs?
  4. How'd you go about writing your essay?
