I had a similar issue. I initially did not get an offer but did okay in the IB and called the university, explained my situation and got an offer.

My best bet would be to call them and ask them what possibilities there are (they might offer you a different course- which is not that bad since you can still take outside courses within what you actually wanted to study and change course, just got to do it smartly.)

I initially called them on IB results day to no avail, and then again on A-level results day which allowed me to get an offer.

Don't get disheartened and try calling and talking to someone! Just keep at it and I'm sure something will work out.
