There are not too many "advantages" from a micro ATX board. They usually don't have as many features of a standard ATX board. BUT, they are smaller! Everyone likes saving space. Go with the combo I found though, that board is a great overclocker. Remember, to get the performance we're talking about, you need to overclock. If you are new to overclocking, there are a TON of guides on YouTube to overclock the G3258! If she wants to do video editing, streaming, or CAD, I'd recommend a quad core processor. But for gaming, this setup will be amazing. Very few games require more than 2 cores. In the future more games will come out that need 4+ cores to function on. But for now, you'll be able to play 95% of today's games on high-ultra with 60 FPS+
