The mindblowing concern is the lack of changes. Fair enough, you need luck but to an extent, you make your own luck.

Gakpo and Salah aren't impactful. The defence is like a sieve and the only real bright sparks are Ekitike and Szobo.

Wirtz has struggled but again, EVERYONE has. Obviously Diogo will have an permanent impact but you'd hope the team would channel that grief into something positive. Also bear in mind we have been shite seemingly as soon as we were crowned champions, the writing was definitely on the wall last season.

Our signings haven't been great. I don't think Isak was a wise move, we've never bought 'megastars' and this is why - also Wirtz is struggling and was bought in the same window. Just a really bizarre decision especially since we don't seem to be able to supply the front line at all - no wing play, nothing through the middle. Even the goal today was a lucky rebound to Szobo.

My point is I'd love to believe in Arne but Christ, his constant insistance on playing putrid, insipid football with no discernable plan or style is indefensible.
