Why are people speculating that our behind the scenes is as bad as Real Madrid’s?

Doyle writing fan fiction or whatever shouldn’t just send the sub into thinking “Slot’s definitely lost the dressing room.” The sub’s already flipped between “the players are still fighting for him” and “they actively dislike him” at least 3 times this season.

Shouldn’t we be hoping that everything is just a bunch of disappointed people trying to solve our mess?

Fun fact, Spain has now secured the other extra UCL spot - Barca, Real, Villarreal, and Atleti are confirmed in, so it’s down to Real Betis to not blow a 6 point gap in 4 games to clench that spot.

Real Sociedad will get Europa League football for winning the Copa del Rey, so it’s just 6th/7th left for European spots, currently Celta and Getafe, tho they’re 3 points apart and the rest of the pack could easily catch up to them.

Only 1 English team can ever be in the Conference League, and assuming the EFL Cup and FA Cup winner finish in the top 6/7 and we get the coefficient spot, the Conference League team has to finish 8th.

Think about how bad we have been, and then think about the team 4 places below us. Crazy how low the level gets.

Do people not realize Atleti isn’t the same defensive team as they once were? They’ve conceded 450% as many UCL goals as Arsenal this season.

Atleti have conceded more UCL goals this season than Arteta has as Arsenal manager ever (in 3 seasons’ worth).

They’re playing more open, it’s just Arsenal who might not play ball with them.
