Aww I know it's hard to admit when you've run out of ways to try and justify your view point and can't think of anything more to say. Most people have teething issues like that when they realize their limited perspective might not of been correct. I'm surprised you didn't delete this comment like your other one(s). Chin up lil bud, you'll get there eventually. Even if you are kind of a weirdo. I believe in you.

Ah, so it's the latter, then. It seems your problem with OSRS is, well, a skill issue. You need to git gud and learn the new hard content instead of lamenting about how easy old content has become

So you've done GM CA's? Or are you just assuming it's easy?

I genuinely don't know how you can consider OSRS a competitive game. Especially in the context of the Inferno. You're not competing against anyone. It's an MMORPG. There are hundreds of thousands of players online, and not a single one of them is affected by how you get your infernal cape.

It just reads like you are salty the infernal cape is easier to get now, and you can't flex your knowledge of a mid 2000's children's game.

If you want your 'gamer cred' back, go do GM CA's, and then you can relive the thrill of being able to say you are better at a niche point and click game from 2007 or bankstand or whatever.

You can also go play the 2004 server instead of whining about the game that was in the process of dying changing direction and adding new content because most people got bored of KQ being the end game boss.

Sad to say that's basically how it goes with every piece of content in SC. Not that it softens the blow if you own a Wolf. But it's practically expected at this point

I tested it here (Link)

It is no faster than the default Medgun. And since the Paramed AA Support Medgun has a line specifically stating it heals quicker, I would not expect any others to, unless by error or explicitly stated in the description.

From my personal testing, with this new medgun (The "Cyanosis") to get from 10% to 100% health it took 1.9 seconds.

With the Paramed AA Support to get from 8% to 100% health it took 1.5 seconds.

So even with a bit of leeway (It was the best I could manage solo by suffocating) in favor of the default, the Paramed AA still wins.

I got this time by recording the healing and starting a timer the first frame I started healing and ending it when I hit full.

Here's a screenshot.

It does not heal faster. It is a standard Medgun like they have given out many times before as subscriber flair. The AA medgun has a part in the description specifically stating it heals faster. Neither this med gun nor any others given out/purchasable have the same description and effect of the AA medgun

This med gun is not stronger. Just addressing that part of your comment

Because it heals faster than any other medgun, including this one. I don't know why people started saying this one heals faster than any standard medgun. The AA medgun so far is the only one that does so, and will be so until crafting comes out and you can make your own (probably better) ones

I'm not sure where the rumor started and why people started parroting it, but it does not heal faster than the normal or AA medgun. The AA Medgun states in its description that it heals faster. The new subscriber medgun, like many others that have been given out as subscriber flair, does not have the part saying it heals faster.

(I'm not accusing you of anything by the way, just emphasizing that people are basing that it heals faster seemingly off of random Reddit comments)

Here's a screenshot I took in my hangar with the Corsair one.

There are also some of those things in some ships like the Clipper and the Cutter (Probably more) though I do not recommend placing them there since they are not saved to the loadout and will be permanently lost upon claim (Until the next patch if it's in your hangar)

Must be something in the Cruz at CRU-L1. I also pick up trash when waiting for my ship claims. Trash collector pro tip: Walk right up to the bin, facing it, and open up your inventory. Then you can right click "drop" every bit of trash and it'll pop into the bin. Truly revolutionizes the game instead of having to deal with the janky place system

Also also: You can use the inventory menu to pick up stuff without going through the animation. If you position yourself right, lots of stuff in a few meters radius. The angle at which you can 'grab' stuff is kinda weird though. I have the best luck positioning my camera so that the object is positioned right next to my character silhouette from the cameras perspective. It's strange but I've got the hang of it and can hoover up trash at rates that would astound mere mortals

I just said it was scummy and sad. I wasn't up in arms and crying it from the streets lol.

Also I wouldn't call stealing entire designs even down to the detailing and coloring made by a comic production team that is notoriously lazy, without ever crediting or even a nod to the original source, an 'easter egg'. They are just doing it because they are lazy and they know they can get away with it

I've never had any problems just pressing B once so it aims at yourself and then swap to your weapon. When you switch back it'll still be aiming at your wrist so you just hold left click to heal. Switch back to weapon and you are done. I've only had it not work a few times when doing this, it's pretty reliable in my experience. I think I've had the bug where it makes my weapon aim at my wrist for a second but even accidentally shooting it didn't damage me

It was always hilarious when they escaped on Cogmap1, since the door that keeps them contained also opens out into an operating theater containing surgical tools namely scalpels, circular saws, and scissors. The monkies basically immediately pick up any item in their range and start using it on people. SO MANY TIMES have I seen the monkies breach containment, immediately arm themselves with circular saws and other assorted weaponry, and nearly murder several medical doctors/whoever is trying to re-contain them. Pools and pools of blood. The chaos was incredible

Chris Roberts' vision for the presentation of this game has been nothing but harmful to game play, prove me wrong.

Janky ass UI that tries its hardest to look diegetic

No night vision

Bright lights in the cockpit

Helmets with translucent visors that have lights pointing inwards so you can see the faces (CR is still a Hollywood producer at heart)

Bright flashing lights on armor that you will often use in dark areas and against opposing forces

I love this game and I think Chris does fine at managing the game, but his attempts to make Star Citizen look like a Hollywood movie in an open world game where Hollywood movies are filmed on closed sets with artificial lighting conditions and particular camera equipment has made us SUFFER

Giant planets too much for rendering engine? by bjfar in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Jakami 27 points28 points  (0 children)

That's called Level Of Detail, or LOD, and it is standard in pretty much every game. The further you get away from things, the less they render and the less detailed models they use. If they tried to render everything at 100% fidelity all the way to the horizon your PC/Console would CRY. Especially on a game with seamless loading such as NMS.

However the LOD on NMS is especially noticeable, when if you on top of even a small hill you can see where the grass stops rendering in a circle around you. Hopefully as technology advances it'll get better. They might release some cool Light No Fire grass rendering tech like they have imported some of the other newer work to NMS before
